Matthew examines the newly sanded wood floors, which are being refinished by Classic Hardwood Floors of Littleton. Matthew was a bit skeptical at first of refinishing the floors, as he thought that they were in fairly good shape. Fortunately, I made an executive decision to go ahead and re-do the floors. After further review, Matthew was pretty excited for the project! Day 1 involved cleaning, sanding and filling. We think Day 2 will include finishing sanding corners and hard to reach areas, and a first and second coat of stain. Pretty exciting! Also, Mike of Classic Hardwood Floors is going to install a finishing piece of wood on the edge of the floor leading to the basement. Matthew seems very interested in this task.
