Last Thursday we attended a book talk at Neighborhood Flix given by the editors of Our Dumb World: Atlas of Planet Earth, the latest book from the writers of The Onion. The hour plus presentation was hillarious. Jumping from one location in the world the next. One of my favorite points in the presentation was when they pointed out the blue, white and red French flag is specially made for surrender situations. All a little Frenchman needs to do is remove the blue and red panels.

Q: Is is true The Onion received complaints about a free globe not being inside the book as it advertised on the cover?
A: Yes
