I discovered my favorite summer fruit salad several years ago in an issue of Cooking Light magazine. Cardamom, orange zest and lime juice make it very tasty!
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. orange zest of one orange
⅛ tsp. ground cardamom
3 cups nectarines, chopped
2 cups green grapes, halved
1 pint blue berries
1-2 tbsp. lime juice
Combine sugar, orange zest and cardamom in large bowl. Using a rubber spatula press sugar into side of bowl until sugar becomes damp. Gently toss fruit with sugar mixture until well combined. Stir in lime and serve.
