Veggies galore

The planning of our veggie garden took place right after Emma was born. I left Matthew, unmonitored in the basement to start the seeds for lettuce, carrots and tomatoes. I was still in a postpartum haze during our shopping trip to buy the starts for squash, peppers, cucumbers, herbs, etc. and let Matthew pick out all of our plants.

A result of my inattentiveness to the garden planning process is that we have a MAJOR over abundance of produce! I've been scouring craigslist for a wagon Emma can ride in while we deliver our surplus veggies to the neighbors.

In all honesty, our veggie garden looks awesome!!

In total, we are growing:

5 tomato plants
6 squash plants
2 cucumber plants
2 basil plants
1 row of carrots
3 rows of lettuce
5 pepper plants
Thyme
Sage
Tomatoes
Carrots, tomato, squash, cucumber
