Skiing

So far, we've been skiing three times this year and this past weekend was by far the best. We hit up Mary Jane again this week crossing our fingers that the new Panoramic Express lift would be open. After a couple of runs off Sunnyside the Panoramic was finally running. The weather was perfect. The previous weekend we froze and finally gave up on the Panoramic ever opening and headed in for one or maybe three beers. But this weekend it was sunny and warm and even the crusty windblown snow on the way to Larkspur started to soften by mid afternoon.
My turns finally came together this weekend and I was really skiing well. Matthew always freely provides "advice" and "pointers" about my skiing and I have to admit some of it was actually valuable. My favorite part about Mary Jane is the diverse terrain you can pack in to one trip down the mountain. I got plenty of bumps, powder, trees and jumps and even a few wrecks, which I can still feel two days later...

Here's to hoping for more snow!
