We're Back!

Sorry we've been MIA for a bit on this blog. Literally the entire family has been sick, yes, even the dog!

It started with Matthew, who then passed it on to me (I proceeded to get the full-fledged flu). When Matthew started feeling better he took Maya on the run. She apparently got in to something that upset her stomach. After $300 at the vet and purchasing an entire case of canned dog food (that Maya refuses to eat), Matthew freaked! If you saw the canned dog food you'd balk at it too (see right, there's a reason I can only find a picture of the can on the web). It's no Fancy Feast. At first he was upset about the vet bill, but was even more upset when Maya would not eat the canned food. He thought she was going to starve! We now are only feeding her a meal fit for the queen, boiled organic chicken tenders and rice. I am not sure how long we will have to continue on this "bland" diet, but I am pretty sure Maya is going to be faking stomach pains to prolong this meal plan as long as possible.
