Matthew Stinks

It was 70 degrees here in Denver yesterday and we spent all day outside. All the sunshine made Maya a little goofy. She couldn't decide where she wanted to sleep. She bounced from her bed, her chair, back to her bed to wandering around the house drinking water and on this went until about 3 AM when she jumped in to our bed. We were too delirious with sleep to kick her out.

For some reason she likes to sleep with her whole body plastered to Matthew. I think it's because boys stink more than girls and dogs like things that stink. For some reason Matthew doesn't find a hot dog sleeping on him too comfortable, especially when he is forced to share half of a queen sized bed with Maya. Around 3:15 AM he decided he would move to the spare bedroom. At first Maya stayed with me. Of course that didn't last long. I don't stink enough. She jumped in bed with Matthew and curled up in a little ball. At one point I got some water. Maya got up and stuck her little head in my room. I asked her if she wanted to jump up on the bed, but she just turned around and walked back in to the spare bedroom to sleep with the stinky boy.
