Cupcakes!

Tonight we went to checkout a sleigh bed we saw on Craigslist. The bed turned out to be way to big for our room, but we stumbled upon a new bakery (it's only been open two and a half weeks) on the corner of Steel and Colfax. Lovely Confections specializes in cupcakes and cakes made with as many local and organic ingredients owner Porche Lovely can find. Porche was really friendly and she chatted with us for a while about her new business. The location, a former coffee shop, has great seating space for gatherings. Matthew got a chocolate chocolate cupcake and vanilla ice cream. I opted for the vanilla with chocolate frosting and chocolate ice cream. They look fantastic and we're about to devour them...yep, just as I expected the cupcakes are delicious!
