We picked purple basil, one jalapeno pepper and a few sprigs of mint from our garden today. I don't know how the purple basil will taste, but it smells exactly like the green stuff. I plan to use the jalapeno in some guacamole later in the week and I am just about to enjoy a few mint leaves in a glass of blueberry iced tea.

That's a good-looking jalapeno...mine are slowly dying in the heat...but once it cools down and I get some, I'm gonna try to smoke-dry them into chipotles!
