No update on smoking competition. Smoker temp. is around 200 Fahrenheit ("perfect", according to Matthew). Rockies have the lead 2-1 against the Cubs off a Ian Stewart (he was in AA last week!) single in the fourth and a sac. fly from Omar! A couple of base runners with 1 out.

We're approaching 1 hour cooking time. 10 more minutes and Matthew is expected to "flip the brisket", so the fat trim is on top.
