Something Real Nice

Back several days ago, Lisa posted something on iGoogle, and the fact it has a "gadget" for pretty much anything you're interested in. Lisa and I both dig the "craigslist" gadget, which aggregates all of the furniture postings in Denver with the word "antique" in the furniture title or description. This is great -- better than reading through all of the Craigslist furniture postings and a lot better than reading through furniture postings in traditional newspapers. We've found a couple of great pieces this way.

That being said, we've identified some seriously awful furniture items as well -- they're pieces all right. The item in the upper-left hand corner of this post was posted today -- offered at a reasonable $25. Would you pay $25? It was described as having "great colors". Wow!

The real gem, however, is the item posted in the lower-right hand corner of this post. Described as "stunning", this "accent table with antique brass urn" was offered at a very reasonable $150!!! As soon as it was posted, I frantically emailed and called Lisa to so she could check it out. She was laughing in hysterics. The person who posted the listing was not particularly amused when Lisa asked him/her if the post was a joke!
