Debacle - A follow-up

I'll try to post a photo of this shortly. As promised, I purchased a reflector to place on the corner of our lot, near the neighbors driveway. I attempted driving it in the ground in another part of the lawn -- no problem. However, when I attempted to install the reflector where it should be, no luck. See, she had driven across the lawn so many times, it compacted the lawn, and created a nice little ice layer over the grass patch. It almost broke the reflector in half!

So, a week after my frustrations boiled over, and several good days of sun, I was able to drive the reflector in the grass far enough to stick. I even installed one over on the other side of the lawn, near our driveway, to make it look like I was concerned about our driving as well as hers. I must admit, very PC of me.

I'll keep the blog posted. Over-under around the house is a couple of days until she snaps that reflector right in half with her monster truck.
